Recycling will be high on the agenda at this year’s PDM Event from 14 to 15 June at Telford International Centre, UK.

PDM Event 2016 brings the plastics design and moulding supply chain together with the plastics recycling sector in an exhibition and conference, organised by Crain Communications, publisher of Plastics News Europe.

Presentations in the recycling conference will explore: how to keep plastics recovery facilities viable and sustainable in the current economic environment, reform in the PRN system, value chains in the circular economy, the impact of the plastic bag charge and how to increase the use of recycled content in cars.

Confirmed speakers will include representatives from Tesco, WRAP, Local Authority Recycling Advisory Committee (LARAC) and British Plastics Federation (BPF) Recycling Group as well as academics, policy and compliance experts, and leading lights in the packaging and design industries.

Arburg, Biffa Polymers, Boddingtons Plastics, Erema, Hasco Internorm, Milicron, Motan Colortronic, Negri Bossi, Piovan, Plasgran, Plastribution and Romi Machines are among the leading industry names who have already booked stands. New exhibitors have been attracted too including Connect 2 Cleanrooms (offering mouldshop solutions to prevent contamination), Staubli Connectors (hydraulic and electrical connectors), CS Moldes (Portuguese mouldshop), CRC Industries (global supplier of chemical products including purge agents and mould lubricants), Plunkett Associates (low volume prototyping), BOC (industrial gases and cleaning solutions) and Petlon Polymers Ltd (polymer compounding and recovery).
